Hello! I’ve had the privilege of working alongside children and families for the last 20 years, specialising in counselling those with learning differences, such as Autism, Dyslexia, ADHD and developmental delays.
My passion is empowering individuals and families to rediscover their strengths, face their fears, and experience more joy in their lives. I utilize puppets, art mediums, story-telling, neuroscience-based education, sand tray with figurines, and generally creative approaches to address challenging problems. Children learn to identify feelings, express themselves, and connect to their innate wisdom through play, and providing these mediums allows them more tools or ‘language’ to process and make meaning of their lived experiences.
Areas where I may apply this support include: identifying and regulating emotions, managing anxiety, navigating grief and loss, and adjusting to life changes so that children can participate at home, school, or in social life with more confidence and strengthened relationships.
You can expect a warm, non-judgmental welcome and a safe, supportive space for your child to be themselves and tune into their inner strengths and shining light. I look forward to meeting you!

Everyone has a life journey that is special and unique to them. From birth to being a centenarian,
I love being invited to be a part of someone’s journey wherever they are in life. As a counsellor, the most rewarding part about working with people of all ages is it allows me to be creative and diverse with my counselling skills.
Being kind and loving to ourselves and recognizing our inner strengths is at the core of my practice.
I am here to provide a safe space for you or your child to share, talk through or play through the things that hinder living your fullest lives as individuals or as a family.
I draw from Play Therapy, Inner-Child Healing, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Trauma-Informed, Person-Centered and Culturally Safe Practice.
As a childhood Cancer Survivor, I have a special place in my heart not only for children/youth with a medical, cognitive, or mental health diagnosis but for their siblings and parents too.
I look forward to working with you on your healing journey.
